Veggie burgers are kinda hit or miss to me- some of them are great, others taste pretty bad. But Amy’s California burgers are the one type that both the vegetarian and the omnivore in my home enjoy. Find them in the freezer section of your local grocery store!
This is one of my favorite ways to prepare them:
Cook burgers according to package directions. Slice french hamburger buns in half and place cut side down in a greased pan and toast while burgers are cooking.
When burgers are done, place on hamburger buns and top with:
- Mango salsa
- Honey mustard
- Sliced cheddar
- Fresh spinach
